'Twas the fight before Christmas, when all through the land.
The no good Krampus was stirring; he was forming a band!
The elves in the workshop was waiting with care,
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there;
The Claus twins were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads;
Then Krampus' goons beat and broke down the door ,
Grabbed the twins and dragged them across the floor,
When out on the lawn they were stuffed into sacks,
Then slung over shoulders like adventure's packs.
Away to the hideout they flew like a flash,
To Krampus they went ready to bash.
Then Santa soon came when he herd the clatter,
He ran to the twins room to see what was the matter.
From under his breath Santa did hiss,
"Someone has just made my naughty list."
Santa called for a team to hunt down those jerks,
The best weapons he offered, all the best perks!
Even a Reindeer and sleigh they could take,
Then he pointed North just past the lake.
The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth,
And the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath;
"To Krampus' lair in the mountain that sprawls,"
"Ring his neck, skin him alive, deck his halls."
"Now spring to the sleigh," to his team gave a whistle,
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.
But they heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight,
HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO ALL, AND TO ALL A GOOD-FIGHT!
